Do I have to use all 40 units of Botox in one treatment to get the special pricing?Yes. The 40 units have to be used at the time of the appointment and cannot be rolled over or split with another person

How long do dermal fillers last?The research shows that dermal fillers last up to a year for the average person. Variables inlcude, the amount used, the treatment area & the person's metabolism.

Does treatment hurt?Everybody’s pain tolerance varies. 75% of clients say that Facial Aesthetics Team offers very little to no pain and they do not need topical anesthetic. For dermal fillers, topical anesthesia is placed on the area 10 minutes prior to treatment. Any service involving the lip area is also treated with topical anesthesia cream. If you are very sensitive and require topical cream for Botox, please arrive early & inform Facial Aesthetics Team before the appointment begins.

Does Botox help the jawlines or ‘jowls?Yes, Botox can be used in the Nefertiti Lift technique to improve the appearance of the jawline and neck. Botox can also be used in the maseter muscle to slim the jawline.

What if I don’t need the entire syringe of dermal filler?Half syrines are available for our Versa plus at $300. If there is dermal filler remaining in the syringe after a client is satisfied with treatment, Facial Aesthetics Team will store the filler and place at a later date at no additional charge. Dermal filler does not expire for a year and is stored at room temperature.

I want a natural look so people cannot tell I had treatment done. Is that possible?Absolutely. This is Facial Aesthetics Team’s preference to start with doses that look natural, making a client look rested and refreshed. During the consultation, it’s important to express your goals to Facial Aesthetics Team.

Can you treat the deep Nasio-labial lines between the nose and lips?Yes, those lines are treated with dermal filler to replace the volume loss. Amouint of filler needed depends on the client's goals and the depth of the fold.

How long does it take to see the final results of Botox & Dermal fillers?Although the prodcut begins to work in 3-5 days, final results take upto 2 weeks.

Does Botox, Dermal filler & facial injections cause bleeding, swelling or bruising?"Yes, whenever a needle is injected into the face, head or neck there is a risk of bleeding, swelling or bruising. However, most patients do not experience this. Ice helps to minimize the risks in the first 24-48 hours after treatment if these risks are present. Please read the before and after treatment instructions.

How long does the appointment last?Appointments last 20-30 minutes. If Facial Aesthetics Team has an emergency or extensive treatment then there may be a wait. There are two other qualified injectors to assist in your care if you cannot wait for Facial Aesthetics Team.

What are PDO threads and how do they work?PDO threads are is a thread (suture material) made from a substance that is dissolvable and totally safe to use in the tissue. It works by lifting the skin ever so slightly and results in collagenasis and increased vascularization in the treated area.

How do you get the PDO thread in my face?PDO threads are inserted into the tissue on a cannula through a tiny hole we make with a 18 gauge needle after numbing the area with a mix of lidocaine/epinephrine. The hole we make is normally close to the hairline and heals within 24-48 hours.

Are PDO threads safe for me & can I get an infection from procedure?Absolutely! The threads are made from the same substance that is used in surgical sutures. The procedure is performed in with a clean technique. Your face is prepared and cleaned with alcohol and antibacterial soap to prevent infection. All the equipment, including the threads themselves are packaged individually and opened only when in use for the client. Please be sure to read our pre and post instructions for the continued care of PDO threads.
